Fellowship

Carteret Street United Methodist Church (CSUMC) has a wide range of opportunities for Christian fellowship which are highlighted below. We have discovered by participating in one or more of these groups we develop a connection to one another and the community of faith.

For information on any of these fellowship opportunities contact the church office (843-524-3841 or carteretstreetumc@gmail.com) or the responsible person listed with each ministry.

Church Family Activities

The church has many activities to bring our families together in Christian fellowship for delicious food and rewarding programs including:

  • Wednesday Niter: From Sept. to May we have fellowship and dinner at 5:30pm and various family-friendly programs at 6:15pm
  • Church picnic in the spring
  • Ice cream social during summer break
  • Annual church bazaar held in October
  • Thanksgiving dinner
  • Soup and caroling in December
  • Fellowship moments following church service
  • Carteret Street Striders

The Young and the Restless

We are a group of people from our late twenties to sixties who meet every other month who enjoy great fun and Christian fellowship.  We host events at the church, attend local cultural events, take one-day trips to Hilton Head, Savannah, and Charleston, and occasionally have overnight road trips.

Gray Blades

Gray Blades provide fun and fellowship opportunities for senior adults. Gray Blades is a very active group. They meet monthly for covered dish lunches. These fellowship times include interesting programs as well as occasional outings to local sites of interest.  Come and meet with us on the 2nd Thursday of each month at noon and get to know your fellow CSUMC seniors.
