Mission & Service

Carteret Street United Methodist Church (CSUMC) has a wide range of opportunities for Christian service which are highlighted below. We have discovered by participating in one or more of these groups we develop a connection to one another and the community of faith.

For information on any of these opportunities contact the church office (843-524-3841 or csumc@islc.net) or the responsible person listed with each ministry.

United Methodist Women

The United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose Purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concept of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Wherever a need arises for love, food, support, fellowship and caring, UMW Circles are ready to contribute joyfully. Four Circles meet monthly within the church. For additional information contact  CSUMC(843-524-3841)

United Methodist Men

The United Methodist Men, UMM, is an organization to foster Christian fellowship and service among men of the United Methodist Church. The UMM meets the second Monday of each month at 6:00 pm for fellowship, a meal, a program of interest, and devotional

UMM provides an excellent way to be in fellowship with men who love the Lord and do His work. All men of the church are invited to visit or join the church’s men group to support the mission of CSUMC.
