Carteret St. UMC Seeks a Coordinator of Youth Ministries
Our congregation seeks a part-time coordinator, reporting to Pastor Bryson. This position has been open for some time, and we seek your help to find an outstanding person for this role! The coordinator is expected to be an active CSUMC member and is responsible for developing a program of spiritual youth opportunities for junior high school and senior high school aged youth.
Key responsibilities include and are not limited to:
· Planning and executing appropriate, regular Sunday evening programs for Methodist Youth Fellowship
· Managing fundraising and budget for youth activities
· Integrating youth members into congregational programs, projects and worship
· Accompanying youth to South Carolina Conference activities such as Revolution, Asbury Hill events and other programs
Requirements:
· Youth ministry experience
· Computer literacy and social media skills
· Criminal background check
